Tornado of Sound

A swirling funnel of musical instruments is a center piece at an intersection of the Experience Music Project in Seattle, Washington.  Some of the guitars in this installation are rigged with robotic picking devices that pluck the strings to produce a multi-voice musical piece that can be heard through a headphone system installed around the base of the funnel and around the railing on the walkway above.
