My brother, Nathan, won everything he could win at the Fusion Fashion Show, 2010.  Reade more to hear all the details and to see some pictures of his winning designs.

Nathan was one of 15 designers from Parsons, The New School For Design to compete against 15 designers from Fashion Institute of Technology in the Fusion Fashion Show, 2010.  (It's actually 5 shows over 2 days.)  Parsons and FIT are considered by many people to be the two best schools for fashion design in the country.  Just getting into the competition is a pretty big deal.  It's kind of the BCS Championship game for the fashion world.   

After getting accepted he really busted his butt for a few months to get his pieces ready and he really knocked them out of the park.  All of his hard work paid off and he won the "Designers Designer" award as well as "Best Designer."  

There were two "Designers Designer" awards, one for each school with the designers from each school voting for their favorite from the opposing school.  The results of the FIT voting went for Nathan.

At the final show on Sunday evening a panel of fashion industry notables judged all of the entries and named a "Best Designer" from each school.  Nathan was victorious once again.
